Today the two gal valentines went to a tea party, while the other two dude valentines spent some time indoor drag racing and hanging out at the library. Then the entire group of sweethearts gathered back at their home.
After putting on their dancing shoes, they went to a restaurant where the two youngest members of the group had made a reservation for a table of four. After enjoying their fine dinner at McDonald's, the crew headed off to the elementary school, where there was going to be no parking on the dance floor.
The group turned that disco out, busted moves like mad, raised the roof and even spelled out the Y.M.C.A. with classmates and friends. All in the pink, green and blue light coming from the numerous glow necklaces that were darting around the gym. The music wasn't anything the parents had heard before, but the kids were digging it.
The evening was topped off by a scoop of ice cream at a local spot.
The day was great, the dinner fun, dancing a blast and ice cream fine. Hello Valentine, won't you be mine?
