Shake, Rattle & Roll Over And Go To Sleep
We felt the earthquake early this morning.
I worked last night, doing a few film routes, and got home about 4:30am. Not long after that, I noticed a picture on the wall vibrating and figured it was a low flying jet heading to CVG, which is close to our house. It was strange, seeing that I was kind of out of it.
Little did I know I was feeling the earth quake for the first time.

earhquake in kentucky?
wtf.
i lived in LA and felt many an earthquake... and had the unfortunate circumstance of experiencing the Northridge earthquake.
i can say for certain: earthquakes suck.
at least i can prepare for the hurricanes that now hit my NC home...

If it trembled here, I didn't notice. But the earth has moved around my oblivion in the past so I'm not a very good witness.

Actually a major fault line named the New Madrid exists around where Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas come together, and has initiated large earthquakes in the past. This recent one happens to be an off-shoot of the New Madrid, but still, the lower midwest is prone to some seismic activity. Not quite like California but certainly much more so than Texas.
